Johnny Cash finally passes on, age 71

I'm not sure if anyone else got the news yet, so I think it's best that I post about it.

Johnny Cash, the famous country singer, died earlier today, at 3 A.M.

He died of respiratory failure due to complications with diabetes.

As many know, his second wife (who had been with him since the 1960s and helped him beat his addiction to pills), June Carter Cash, passed on in May of this year. They had a son together, John Carter Cash. Johnny Cash is also survived by his daughter from his first marriage Kathleen, Cindy, and Tara.

Personally, I don't have too much to say, but I cannot doubt that his music being geared toward the downtrodden and hard-working folk really became a voice for such people. He will definitely not be forgotten.
