Words to live by in the "real world" as well as in the military.
It is just something which is easier learned in the military in my own experience, and it was also there that I picked up these traits.

I'll just say it again once more since I found a way back. Good luck, and since Obsidian left this one out: If you get shipped off for service in a foreign country...avoid the over-eager women. Worse than leeches I've been told by my marine friends.

The marks they leave are worse too....

Thumbs up for antibiotics!

I did not expect this from you, not at all!

The moment gets closer...

16 hours and then I leave my home...

So, this is the last visit here before my service begins.

Have a nice time everybody, I'll be back!!

I decided to add quote from the lyrics of Nightwish's "Dead Boy's Poem".

"If you read this line, remember not the hand that wrote it
Remember only the verse, songmaker`s cry, the one without tears
For I`ve given this its strength and it has become my only strength.
Comforting home, mother`s lap, chance for immortality
Where being wanted became a thrill I never knew
The sweet piano writing down my life"

"Teach me passion for I fear it`s gone
Show me love, hold the lorn
So much more I wanted to give to the ones who love me
I`m sorry
Time will tell (this bitter farewell)
I live no more to shame nor me nor you

And you... I wish I didn`t feel for you anymore..."

So, goodbye everybody!!!!

Good luck Kipi. I'll be thinking about you. Remember, watch the females!

Correct. My life expectancy in combat was 12 seconds. Why? I was in tactical communications. I was also the machinegunner for my squad. And...yes, I drove a humvee with an equipment shelter mounted in the back. 3 strikes.

All I have to add: stay away from swaggering officers in combat. They are a primary target for snipers.

More good advice, Kipi. Take it from me: I have seen a few trainees drop the grenade directly behind them as they wound up to throw. Don't wind up - just throw the thing. Get rid of it!

You will learn much about yourself, and human nature. Be prepared for it.

Good Luck Kipi.

My stint in the Canadian army was behind a lab bench, so I can't really help you here.
