Why thank you kindly folks. I am ever lurking...and even posting a bit on GB over the past few weeks - I have been squeezing DW and Fable for tips on modding Morrowind.

Two pieces of news:

- Silver Oak Studios finally did finish and publish their d20 lorebook for "The Land of Argyle" It was a long time coming, but they managed to produce an excellent work of fiction. Top notch all the way. Check my unsolicited fan review of the Argyle lorebook here.

- Lately, I have been working with a team of folks at Hollow Relic Studios where we have yet another d20 publishing project and NWN2 persistent world project in the works. More info on that can be found in my signature.

Its nice to be remembered on your birthday - even if it is #39 - but they say 39 is the new 29 so I guess I can't complain.

I hope 39 is the new 29, so I have something to look forward to now that my own 29 is dwindeling fast

As for the argyle lorebook, you might want to PM to Buck, so he perhaps can put it up as news (if he haven't already). Argyle has sort of "died" out for me, as there was next to no (public) activity and the world seem to go belly up as well.
Unfortunally......

Have the team all but given up on NwN2 world as well as I've not been able to find much information when I lurk on that board? Or is it all secret still

Oh, and say hi to Roland, Rhino and all the other guys if you communicate with them.

I'm slightly slow off the mark with birthdays lately so my apologies, still I'm on the day anyway.
A very happy birthday to you! I hope you have a great day and receive all of your wishes and more

I'm going to be 39 soon myself...... I share your pain !

The Argyle folks (Silver Oak Studios) have no plans for a NWN2 persistent world based on Argyle lore. I was involved previously with the Port Hope Project for NWN2, but there were some creative disagreements between Silver Oak Studios and the Port Hope development team - so they went their separate ways. The old Port Hope team is now working on a totally new d20 project called "Mirrors" and a NWN2 PW server called "Mirrors Online". I do some advertising for the Mirrors team and you can follow the link in my signature to find out more about that project.

As for Argyle and NWN2 - Rhino has said that he has entertained offers from a couple of fans to design modules using the Argyle lore - but nothing official has come of this yet. I think a persistent world would be pretty unlikely - but I could see the possibility for a few stand alone modules for NWN2 based on Argyle. We will see...

I will be sure to pass on your greetings to Rhino and Roland
