I am not a creationist, nor am I an evolutionist. I find that these titles are fit only for the extremists of both sides. Unlike an evolutionist, I do not believe in evolution. Unlike a creationist, I do not believe that all discoveries that the theory of evolution has led to are wrong

The geologic column is true if you take out evolution and compare it with the creation account in Genesis(looking at the 6 days of creation as figurative for longer amounts of time, which some of us do), you'll find it coordinates perfectly. I might post a comparison in that other topic.

As I said, I might post in the other evolution post, but I might not. Once I get on the evolution/creation soapbox, it is nearly impossible to get me off of it(to the dismay of many teaches I have had). I have very strong opinions on the subject, but they are also considered highly contraversial as they do conform to neither creationism nor evolutionism. Rather, they contain some of both, but I am not a Theistic Evolutionist(?).

Hmmmmm, the way these threads keep coming up. It looks like we are degressing back to evolution, instead of progressing away from it.

In general, humans are rather stubborn. We have trouble moving away from contraversial topics because we tend to have a desire to make everyone believe as we do. While the informing others of our own beliefs and conclusions is good, we need to be careful to not force our beliefs upon others, of course.

saturn, no offense but your signature is VERY long...when you post multiple times in a thread, you could uncheck the box that says "show signature" so that your signature would not always show...that way people trying to read through would not have to scroll past it so many times.

No one else has complained about it, and I have to scroll past is just as many times as everyone else. As far as I can tell, you're the only person it seems to bother.
