The Onion's usual insight shows parents how they can stalk their children and interfere in their lives

In other words, how NOT to be a parent

(content warning: the video contains some minor vulgar text)

Heh, my mom just joined facebook, so I quickly did some selective untagging of photos from a few years ago.

if I had any kids they would have to be very very sneaky to get past me.
Good thing about being a geek - it is easy to snoop online

Indeed. Any kids you had would probably feel as though they had a cop as a parent

Well - not a cop, cause they have to follow the law whereas parents are more ..... free to take irrational precautions and consequences
But GPS in the mobile phones are be a blessing. Some trojan horses and key loggers on home computers and perhaps electronic leg irons and other fun things.

(I think it is a good thing I'm child-free..... )

For the sake of the child, I couldn't agree more.

Gosh, what a frightful woman! I'm glad I'm not a child of hers - her poor son...

Nah.. You'd just be like one of those cops who goes for the subtle approach of making sure no visible marks are left

Pretty much my sentiments exactly... *shudder*
I mean, it's satire, but I can actually see a lot parents being that way.
Because I value my own privacy, I also value my son's privacy, and I'd never snoop on him like that, I was horrified..

For years to come, her kid is gonna get a hard time just because what hid dear old momma did. Potential employers will call him a mother's boy, and girls will avoid him like the plague.
