Question Have You Ever....?

I had the thought that it could be amusing to start a thread of this nature. So, here's the deal. Post a question of the "Have you ever.." sort, and answer it yourself. Respond to any question you wish to, but if you do respond, make note of your question above the answer in the event this takes off and we get a bunch of questions.

So, my first one:

Have you ever called your lover the wrong name during sex?

No....however, I called one a pet name that brought back nasty memories. Bad things, but it wasn't my fault.

Patrick,
pardon?

I honestly don't intend to sound rude or offensive... but you often don't make very much sense. Not just here, but in other threads as well...

The lady does have a point. Does that make sense in your head, or are you doing that to see if it irritates people?

I'm bored, another one:

Have you ever went off to go somewhere, and forgotten where you were going, or what for? Doesn't matter how long of a walk/drive/etc it is either.

Erm...definately. Sometimes, it doesn't take more than walking for 20 seconds before I forget why I got up.

@Patrick:
Don't post unless you have something (relevant) to post.

Magrus started a thread with a question, at least you could have the curtesy to post something in relevance to the thread.

@ Patrick. No one is trying to be mean. I, for one, would just like to talk to you. But it's hard because I have trouble following what you are getting at. I have tried, so help me out a little bit, eh?

Have you ever gone somewhere, and after 20 minutes or so, not remember how you got there? (im not talking about directions to a place, just having no memeory what so ever of actually leaving your previous location and arriving at your curent one.)

This happened to me when I was baout eight years old, I still remembe rit because it really confused me. I was down stairs eating/watching tv or something, then next thing I knew I was in my room playing with Lego's, I didnt realize it until about five minutes later that I had no clue how I had gotten there, no memory what so ever of walking up the stairs and down the hall, opening my door, closing my door, getting out my lego's (the ones that werent already ont he floor) I was so confused I got up and retraced what I thought my path would of been, but no memory ever came back, im still confused to this day. Logic tells me I did what I normally do, But msytery tells me something else, but what it says is a mystery...

No, I dont even think they were home, and i fixed the food myself so they werent involved in that respect... I think I was just concentrating so hard on my beautiful creation that it kinda blotted everything out, and when I took a break to look for a piece, I suddenly realised that I had no clue what just happened.

I'm sorry but I get a kick out of patrick... But yeah, don't be too nonsensical dude, necause it is impolite at times. We do all like you, however, so no fears there .

This is kind of a dangerous "have" but this has been happening to me for awhile now...

Have you ever gotten that vertigo feeling when you're performing a common, menial task that you could do something dangerous right now just because you can?

I have.

Lemme explain... When I'm driving my car, which I do alot, I sometimes have a small, sudden urge to drive it off the road or into a median or something. For example I'm driving down the highway (going fairly fast) and it strikes me that if I edge my car two feet to the left I'll hit the median and cause a huge accident and hurt a bunch of people. Why? Because I can. It's a miniscule feeling, but it troubles me nonetheless: I'm almost sure I'm morally a good person. I'm also very grounded (friends call me the most realistic and logical person they've ever met... I don't know if that's a good thing but...) and would never do such a thing. I always dismiss the feeling with some disgust and even more spite. I can't help but think, however, that this feeling (if others get it too) might be the answer to those inexplicable, horrible actiopns some people commit: they get the urge, but it's stronger or they can't resist it. It worries me frankly. Maybe I'm insane... Wouldn't that be interesting...

This is the only place I'd admit such a thing: if I asked my parents, they'd worry about me. My friends would think I'm crazy and it'd scare my girlfriend. You guys, however, don't know who I am so I feel I can talk about it... I don't kknow if this is really what mag intended this thread to be, but it seemed a good opportunity to get this off my chest...

Sorry.

I understand you Tony, when I'm walking on a sidewalk I always feel the almost irresistible urge to knock a riding cyclist of his bike with a large stick, just to see what would happen

we dont know who you are? of course not.

and to tonies baove quesiton:
Yes all the time. My urges are more... homocidal though, like when camping, i could jsut grab that burning stick and beat someone to death with it, take that hatchet and lodge it some ones face, or slit someones throat with my knife. OR just the urge to suddenly hit someone in the kidneys, throat, or groin and watch them in pain, or while driving, to just suddenly make a lane change into oncoming traffic. I think it has something to do with power, not that your a power hungry soon-to-be dictator but I think it has to do with man's everlasting quest for power, it pleasures us to know that we could do these things, cahnge the world as it were, albeit for only a few people. So thats my answer, and my reasoning.
