Happy Valentine to all those who are celebrating it!
As for me, I have never celebrated Valentine's, it's pretty new to celebrate it here in Sweden.

I have to work too, and Silur, but we will have dinner with some friends tonight (provided I have submittet this %&@£ abstract by then).
A couple of days ago, a Swedish newspaper did an online poll regarding how men wanted to be courted by women on Valentine's day. 30 000 men replied to the poll, and results were:
92% wanted to be courted on Valentine's day.
72% thought women were bad at this
57% wanted to be celebrated by having hot, passione sex
20% wanted to celebrate with a cosy night at home
16% wanted to celebrate with a romantic dinner at a restaurant
27 % wanted a good whisky as a Valentine's gift
24 % wanted roses
16% wanted sexy underwear (for themselves)
8% wanted something nice for the house
8% wanted a computer game
6% wanted jewelry
5% wanted a treatment at a beauty saloon
What men didn't want to have was (and pay attention to this, girls)
26% absolutely don't want a DIY-tool of some kind.
14% don't want a tie (it's for your father, not you lover

)
So, if you date a Swedish guy, give him a good Scotch, a dozen red roses, and attack him with some red hot sex!

Maybe this can be generalised to men of other nationalities as well - it's worth trying!
