hey guys, i would of posted something like this yesterday, but i was gone. Yesterday was 4/20! that's marijuana day! now here's the real question, what in the world does 420 have to do with marijuana? i've heard it's the police code or whatever for smoking marijuana, but after extensive research i've found that to be completely untrue for any type of penal code etc. anywhere in the u.s. The most accurate thing i've seen was a club from san rafeal high school near san fransico in the 60's who would smoke out at 420 everyday. one of them was friends with a greatful dead roadie and eventually the band caught on and everyone started using it. i guess this makes sense, but how would just a few people coin such a popular phrase? i think that's pretty nuts. |

It has nothing to do with a "time" that some club smoked up, nor with any "penal" code-- it comes from the "science" of smoke. THC, tetra-hydra carbinabinol is the active ingredient in pot. THC has a gradient-shifted atomic weight- this uneven mass, or material within its structure is what causes it to have its famous affect on those who let it interact with their internal chemical systems. The weight is measured not in grams or pounds, but in units (AWUs). The "weight" of THC is 420 AWUs, or 420. It caught on from there.

I know a lot about a lot of things insect. Are you implying that I have more personal relations with my subject matter? I never smoke the stuff. I used to, years ago, but now it just gives me a headache.
