Right, to try and kick this thread off, prove that my writing is horrible beyond belief, and perhaps educate you (if you can read it), here are the first few lines of Book 24 of Homer's Iliad, translated by yours truly...it's a very literal translation so it probably reads as nasty English though

Wow, kam, you put my handwriting in the shade with sheer crapulence, I bow to your Doctor-in-waiting handwriting skills

My handwriting invariably causes blank stares, or smartass remarks wondering if I'm a doctor. That in turn produces a not-fully-stifled-guffaw from my wife. I keep telling her that in my day, we didn't bother writing, we just lined up boulders on the ground to spell out messages.

My writing is so small you have to touch the paper with your eyeball to get close enough to read it... It's really small.

You're wife can still write?

My writing used to be so perfect it bordered on script....then I became a nurse. Funny how years of charting degrades penmanship to a series of scrawls followed by slightly wavy lines

I prefer cursive, but when I write that way, I'm told by my friends that it looks like a size 10 font. My friends would take pages and pages of notes, but I always managed to snake by with three or four pages. I have to write in ugly, large print for anybody to be able to read it. Makes me mad.

I have the penmanship of a 80 year old crack addict ice skating down the side of a glacier naked while writing an essay.

Surprisingly, yes. But I'm trying to break her.
