Greatest Article of the Year

13 Year Old Steals Dad's Credit Card to Buy Hookers

I officially declare this the best news article of the year. It's too hysterical to be topped, AND with a "dammit!" at the end for what was actually gonna happen with the kid.

Two thumbs up to Ralph for being such an idiot!

"That's my boy!"

I sometimes joke about my cats taking my car keys and my credit card and going off on a little catnip spree. If they actually did it, I really would be proud of them for their spirit and their initiative. Of course, they're cats, and I expect them to behave irresponsibly and amorally.

I wonder if we're supposed to infer anything from the fact that the boy's father is a lawyer? If I were a lawyer, maybe I would feel the same way about my child as I would feel if my cats did something similar. Regardless, it is obvious that the kid has absorbed "values" that will serve him well for the rest of his life. Since he didn't have sex (he only stole money from his benefactor), he still has a great future ahead of him in politics (as a Republican, of course).

Republican? I would like concrete verification that this boy's last name is not Clinton.

The fact that the boy's escapade has only been mentioned in a relatively low-visibility European publication and the American public has not been saturation-bombed by every media outlet, email chain-letter list, and rightwing mouth, pen, or website is pretty solid proof to me. Anything done by the Clintons is magnified by a factor of about a billion in the eyes of the world. If there was the smallest chance that this incident had anything to do with Bill Clinton, it would be on Fox "News" right now.
