I just built a new computer (amdxp 1600, 512 ddr ram, geforce3 64MB) and since NWN is not out yet (curses!) I got "Ghost Recon" to experience my new graphical capabilities. The game seems really good, but.....

I suck!

Does anyone else play this game? I also got "The typing of the dead" I'm still looking for Wizardry 8, and reading the CIV III thread is making me think about that.

Also, did anyone used to play the arcade game "Smash TV"? It was a very fun mindless top down view blow everything up game, similar in plot to the Arnold S. movie where he is a contestant on a murderous game show. I remember going over to the arcade across the street from college and playing this game. One time I sat and put $5 in quarters in and finished the game. This is the only time I ever felt like an "arcade god" because a bunch of people were actually standing behind me watching. Anyway does anyone have a recommendation for a PC game that approaches the mindless stupid fun of Smash TV?

Um to replicate the fun of Smash TV? I dont think anything can come against that.
How about Half-life multiplayer add-ons (counterstrike and Team Fortress Classic being really fun)? hats pretty mindless and fun.

Now that's a love poem if I ever heard one.
