What is the most severe injury you have sustained from playing computer/video games?
Mine would be blisters (Whoa! Pretty life threatening stuff.) on my thumb while playing Street Fighter 2 on the SNES. I was trying to learn the dragon punch move and I never got it right.

| ROFL I always found that if you just pressed all the buttons randomly quite fast, it might just happen coincidentally
But in answer to your question, I have never sustained any gaming injuries, except perhaps a backache from sitting in a cheap desk chair for too many hours in a row playing BG2...

I probebly sound very stupid when I tell you this but I'll tell it anyway:
Once while playing a game, can't remember what, I got mad because I failed a test, I hit the table wit my fist and my right picky went out of place.
I had to push it back... I feel so stupid right now.
Please, someone else tell your story so I'm not the only one.

Well, I remember deliberately hoisting a giant mainframe over my head with a forklift and then repeatedly dropping it on myself, but after the first hit or two everything else in life has been, more or less, a daze...

Fable: Rofl
Well, I haven't actually hurt myself, but I have spilled diet coke on my keyboard more times than I care to share. I also broke my desk by kicking through the back panel (it was a cheap desk)

| Were there any people on these web pages at all? Or, is it as I fear?

*ahem*
Anyway...apart from RSI, I have had a couple of gaming injuries. At a marathon N64 sleepover I rubbed my thumb raw on that bl**dy joystick playing NBA'98. And me and a mate knew we were getting addicted to Diablo 2 when we found matching blisters on the heels of our right hands...comes from not using a proper mousemat...

One time, at home, my computor jumped me, along with the fax machine and television. Well, I the Fax machine didn't pose much of problem. The Computor and Television were a different matter. I had to be them to death with their own screens....
Suffice it to say, I managed to get the 1000 brown M&M's, and Ozzie went on stage... | | |
