I don't really look at fishing as a sport...

How about skeet shooting or archery? Are those considered sports.

How about bungee jumping? Some of the people who jump off of cranes (as opposed to bridges) have nets under them (although in my book it takes balls to jump off a crane with nothing but an oversized rubber band to stop you from hitting the concrete).

Is fishing isn't a sport, bungee jumping sure as hell isn't (I have a feeling though, HLD, this is answer #4. so sad)

Relax Ned. I was just kidding about fishing.
But bungee is no sport, and most of the time there is no net.

Ringette - a team sport for girls, similar to ice hockey; you score by shotting a hollow rubber ring into a net guarded by a goaltender

If only I could confidently give this persons definition of 'sport' it might help Hopefully we might know in a day or two or I will be very embarrassed
Here is one for those who know English football - there are 19 suffixes to team names. Examples
United (as in Manchester and Leeds)
City (as in Manchester and Coventry)
How many more can you get? (double points awarded to non UK residents

Do one-word teams count? Like Arsenal etc.
Forest
Wanderers
Wednesday
Town
Vale (is this ok???)
Athletic
More will doubtless come...like the more obvious ones
