Forgorten & Dead?

Im sorry for posting this, but this has really bothered me for some reason. It seems that the Warcraft and Starcraft Series are dead? I see the forums but nobody really posts on them and Starcraft, I haven't really come across something about them as of yet. I would have thought that with the New Starcraft Ghost coming, that there would have been a lot of talk about the excitment of a 1st person shooter for a Starcraft Game. I also thought that with all the Warcraft games there would be a bunch of things about them. You see, Im in love with the Warcraft Series (not really) but you understand. Warcraft 1 was the first actual game that I ever really got into. Maybe its just me and Im just not looking in the right spot but this is what I've been wondering about. Do people just not like them anymore with all the other new high-tech games that are coming out such as UT04, Halo, the Morrowind Series etc.?

Well as far as the World of Warcraft Forum, it's only been out for about a month, and the warcraft rts series forum even shorter. The World of Warcraft Forum won't become active until the actual game comes out, in about a few months (based on schedule.) When it gets more fans and is known to the 'in the dark' public, and when people finally have some questions about the game problems they have in the game.

I think I was there the day rts warcraft series forum came out, but I could think of nothing to post. So I left it alone. In fact the only thing anyone has ever thought to post, that I remember seeing in there, is 'HEY! I GOT FIRST POST!' Which is nice if you like the scraps. I can't find a use for it, people don't talk about the 4 RTS warcraft games here in gamebanshee. The only Warcraft game that will be talked about, I bet, is the RPG WoW. Though there won't be many posts in the RTS warcraft forum. I'm confident that WoW will have many posts for you and I to indulge ourselves in, when the game is released. Then again, since you have to pay for the game to play it, people might spend more time on the game rather then talking about it here.

Well - in my personal oppinion - I don't think there is much to talk about when it comes to RTS games and the same with action/FPS games. They are all pretty straightforward in gameplay and variation, and it is limiting how much one can discuss the various "startegies" in such games.

Also, this site attracts many players of RPG games - a lot of us oldies came here due to Baldurs Gate/Baldurs Gate 2. And while many people here also plays and likes (many other) different genres, it will still only be a smaller portion of the larger community, which most likely will translate into a lower postcount for such forums on this site. It is like set theory from mathematics.
