For Fable - The Cat and the Seahorsey

I feel like starting this "In Xanadu...." but unfortunately i can not blame it on such things as Coleridge, so here is an amazingly silly story. Enjoy

Deep in the ocean there is beauty beyond our imagining there is a little population, oft dreamed of, but not often seen, they are mermaids.

The seahorse - majestic and beautiful - is their most trusted companion, it is their protector and their friend. Only the Seahorse knows the full lurve ( ) of the mermaids.
There has only been one Human who has seen the mermaids, his name was Fable... The Seahorses and Mermaids spend all day and night frolicking, there is nothing but playtime for the ever joyful mermaids and Seahorses. However this is about to change.

The cat enters the fray, he has seduced one of the less joyful Seahorses with his protestations of how it is on the surface, all lies and deception... the cat however is also quick to get his masters attention to this new world. Fable being a good master follows the cat.... and the moraly wayward Seahorse.

The seahorse leads them to the place of beauty, it is a wonderous sight, too much for mere words....this writer could not possibly begin to describe the wonder, Fable saw this and in an instant he knew what he must do...

He must never let another human view this beauty, for humans to see it would be to taint it's glory, he decides at this point to teach the Cat and the Seahorse of their wrongs.....he tells them about love about how this perfect place would be ruined by the taint of greed and pride.....the cat and the seahorse learn their lesson well and soon understand the meaning of their wrongs. They decide to leave this place of love.....however before they can leave the mermaids find them!

They have found the interlopers.....they enter into a debate on what to do next...the mermaids say they have enough love for the whole planet....Fable says there is no way that there love could last in a world so filled with hate and greed.....the mermaids see his point of view. They come up with a brilliant scheme, one that would change things forever, Fable would take his cat back to the world and they would spread love throughout the world.....alone Fable with the remote help of the mermaids, would succeed in bringing love back to a world so devoid of it.

This ends our tale, for even now Fable returns to the surface to spread love to the masses.....much needed love.

I think "lurve" is one of those funny words they use over in the UK like "boot", "bonnet", "lift" and "telly". It really only makes sense if you're from across the pond.

It doesn't take a catastrophically humongous intellect to figure out the origins of this simple word

Please don't criticize Sleep. It was very nice of him to somehow fit me into a story with a cat and a sea horsey, not to mention our going to the Lurve for the artwork (presumably by way of the Seine).

Actually, it's a happy sea horse that sells its time on the weekends to double as a chess piece. That buys it all the chocolate chip ice cream it can eat, and the thing's a glutton. Nice of you to have wondered about it.

Perhaps there is an undercurrent in my silly story, of reference to a thread that our resident psychologist created. It might be that i am making subtle statement about the many facets of art, and how love can blossom from any form of art, and art in itself is a kind of love.... of course it could be that i am slightly crazy and it was as it appears just pure silliness

Wish I could take credit for being the resident psychologist, but that's @CE's department. She's got the brains, the deductive logic, and the science background. I'm just somebody who fools around with words and other stuff like that there.
