Final Fantasy series

Hey guys,

I was rummaging through my old stuff when I came across my old FF 2 and FF 3 cardridges for the nintendo! I seriously love FF and have played ALL of the FF series. But my all time fave had to be #2. IMO it's where it all started. #1 Didn't have the whole storyline and all. I guess i'm just really old school when it comes to Role Playing. How bout you? Whats your fave FF game?

For pure sentimental purposes, I loved 1. it was the game that got me addicted. many hours, and I could still play it I like all of them really...including 8. I think it was compared to 7 and got a bad rap. Stiil 8 did have issues. The cinematics where too long, and the summoning were overdone, but I liked the story. After 8, I haven't played yet. My PS went down, and I haven't got another one yet

Yeah i really thought summoning your GF took really long!!! For example: Behemoth or neo-bahamut took forever. Big issue with the later FF series.

It took too long, and there was too much power involved. after awhile, you could just constantly summon GF and get out of most encounters. I really wanted an option to cut the cinematics...after the first few times, I had just seen it already and wanted to get on with the game

Hey BS did you ever get Locke out of that cave in FF3 after the world fell down??? I never did. Or the bigger question is: Did you ever get the Sasquatch?

I can't remember playing 3. I remeber 1, bits and peices of 2, 7 and 8 mostly because they were recent. I know I had to have played 3 though....but my memory blows Was it 3 or 4 where your dude started off on a chocobo and met that chick by a meteor or something?

No 3 was the one where you play this chick with an escort of 2 imperial guards. You assault this city called nebel??? And yor target is an esper (GF) that has been frozen in ice or some rock. But when you get to the esper your character freaks and kills the two guards. You wake up the next morning and meet locke, the thief.

The girls mother your character caused to die by killng her GF, right? Something about fighting it in a maze of caverns? Am I off here?

YES!!! YOU'VE GOT IT!!!

You fight off the city guards who are out for revenge with locke. And of course the help of the Mogs. You know, those cute little cheruby thingies.

I could have sworn that was 4 Like I said, my memory is god awful Now I need to play it again.

You still have a nintendo??? Awsome. Mine got junked a few years back. Spilled coke all over it.(Doh!) By the way, how much do you think a cartridge for an original copy of FF 2 is worth? You can't buy those anymore. can you?

I'm not sure where you can buy them. I think you may be able to search for some websights that have old copies for sale....or maybe on e-bay or something.

Actually i have a copy... I was just wondering. although this has nothing to do with FF: Have you ever played Chrono Trigger??? That's another classic

Ok, first off, Espers were not GF's! Second, They are Moogles! Not Mogs!. Thirdly Tactics was the best FF, and any who say other wise, I'll yank their ball sacks off like a piece of wet paper towel!
