| | | Fast food hell: your least favorites (light spam)
Fast food and near food chains are now pretty common across the world. Leaving aside all possible apocalyptic meanings embedded in this fact, what's the restaurant chain you hate the most, and why?

| | | I've just finished reading Fast Food Nation (very highly reccomended) and I don't want to eat in one of those places ever again, but the worst food IMO is probably at McDonalds. the burgers suck, and look like they've been sat on.

| | McDonalds too ! I'm tired to hear "You wanna fries with that ?" quote, yet dunno why some of my friends still love to go there if we're looking for something to eat in the middle of the night after long hours of tinkering stuff

| | Well - depends on the time actually....
in the middle of project writing for school (wich I start monday again actually) I usually hate MacD. because about 2/3 of our meals are taking place at MacDs so I get rather tired of it. Luckily I don't eat there at other times then when we are doing projects 
Other then that - I don't think I have a dislike for fast food. |

Pizza chain in New York. Terrible pizza. Somehow they've located themselves in every tourist trap in NYC, so all the tourists go there and think they're getting good NYC pizza. Ewwww.

| | | I eat fastfood extremly seldom since eating at restaurants is the way I most often use to socialise with my friends. That way you combine something you have to do anyway, eat, with having a good time with your friends.
I have only tried McD's a few times, but I thought it was pretty ok, I mean only a little worse than the other big fastfood chains I've tried. However, instead of using the big fastfood chains (there aren't any around my workplace anyway, and only 1, Burger King, close to where I live) I pick up fastfood from small local places when I have to. There was an excellent Greek fast food close to the first place where I and the hubby lived, and an even better Japanese close to where I lived with my ex-husband. Now, I don't like pizza, but I am lucky enough to live across the street from one of the best pizza restaurants in town.

| | There's decent fastfood usually available from standalone and airline malls, but we typically prefer to spend our restaurant cash (and our calories!) on some place we enjoy that takes the time to things right. Very occassionally when we're on the road and can't find anything (save some rundown place named Mom's Diner, said Mom being a cook in his sixties with twenty-five tattoos who drops cigarette ashes into his cuisine), we'll stop at Wendy's. Only fast food place I've eaten gotten violently ill from: McDonald's. It's been years since I've gone back, and I'm not going to break a record to see if they've improved.

I also hate Pizza Hut with a passion. Admittedly... my view is coloured by the fact that there is one just across the alley from us. But they keep the place in filthy repair which does not exactly reflect well on the product within.

McD's is pretty bad. However, Arby's and Harvee's scrape the grease out of McD's fry vats and serve it up in sandwiches. |
