Yeah, I know it's a bit early compared to when I usually start this thing up, but I figured since I'm not sure who really posts here regularly anymore, the early start would allow for people to see this and guage interest in a league this year.
If there is enough interest, I'll start the league up closer to the season. I just want to make sure we have enough players to make it worthwhile, I always like to have at least 8 teams. Maximum number of teams I think would be 12.
On a related note, the league will be run this year on NFL.com. That's right, after the season long banishing to Yahoo when NFL.com decided to kill the free game, they've decided this year to re-open the free leagues. The upside for this is that NFL.com is a much better site overall, and features live updates of stats as the games progress, so no more waiting til the next day to see how your team scored.
And, to head off Ned's yearly question, nope, still not playing for money. Just bragging rights  And to knock Gwally off his pedistal if he decides to play.
So, anyone interested?

| | | I can check to see if there's an option to change the league to a public setting to get the required number. Or could switch the entire thing back to Yahoo. There are a couple people who have expressed interest but haven't signed up. As it is, I think there is only 6 teams registered so far.

| | I'm pretty sure that we'll have to go back to Yahoo. At midnight tonight, the league will be deleted unless we get 6 more people signed up. There's no option to move the draft back or to change to a public league, so I think we're definatly gonna be deleted.
It's mostly my fault to be honest. I just assumed that a league with less than 12 teams would be fine and didn't check. I'll get things set up on Yahoo at some point in the next day or two, and send everyone the new set-up.
Sorry for the inconveninece
@Kipi, if you are interested in joining, I can send you the info when I get the new league set up. As I said, one more person at this point won't keep us afloat in the current one anyway, but you're more than welcome to join in.
