So is there going to be a 'pick-em' game at GB this year?

I hope so.

If Gwally doesn't start a thread by tomorrow for picking the games, I will.

I'm in another league (yes, I'm a fantasy football whore) and a guy is offering me a trade.

He's offering Bubba Franks (TE-GB) and Brandon Lloyd (WR-SF) in exchange for Mushin Muhammad (WR-CHI).

I hate to give up Muhammad, who had a career year least year, but he's playing in Chicago, which is sure to cut into his production.

Here's who the other guy has:

Trent Green
Isaac Bruce
Derek Mason
Deuce McAllister
Tiki Barber
Bubba Franks
Carnell Williams
David Carr
Steve McNair
Drew Bledsoe
David Patten
Plaxico Burress
Chris Chambers
Brandon Lloyd
Marshall Faulk
Jeb Putzier
Keyshawn Johnson
Nate Kaeding
Jay Feely
Greg Wesley
Erik Coleman
London Fletcher
Jamie Sharper
Mike Peterson
Jason Taylor

I have:

Donovan McNabb
Deion Branch
Matt Jones
Corey Dillon
Stephen Davis
Chris Cooley
Santana Moss
Travis Henry
Antonio Gates
Byron Leftwich
Kurt Warner
Mushin Muhammad
Kevan Barlow
Mike Nugent
Jeff Wilkins
Roy Wiliams (the CB, not the WR)
Donovan Darius
Keith Brooking
Jonathan Vilma
Bert Berry
Javon Kearse
Chad Brown
Peter Boulware
Philip Buchanan
Antoine Winfield

I was thinking Muhammad for Burress and Faulk or maybe even straight up for McAllister.

It's a keeper league and I took over an already established team. Some of the players I got stuck with, some I picked in the draft. This league also plays individual defensive players instead of whole units.

Who should I trade for. I don't necessarily want to get jettison Muhammad, but I don't see him putting up good fantasy numbers playing for the Bears. Of course, since this is a keeper league, I may want to keep him around for the long haul.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Muhammad has always been a solid reciever, but like you said, he's in Chicago now. He's also getting up in years, so I wouldn't expect him to be around that many more seasons. I think had he had a QB with any level of talent his entire career, we'd be mentioning his name with the likes of Owens, Harrison, and Moss. Unfortunatly, he's had really bad QB's he's played with until Delhomme showed up. Still, I'm not sure what you could get out of him that would be much better than what you've already been offered.

If you think he can make a run in Chicago, keep him. If you're looking at things like he doesn't have a chance of doing much this year and you wanna look to the long term, I'd more than likely trade him for Lloyd. Lloyd shows a few flashes of being a good reciever if he ever gets a QB in SF or moves to another team(He'll be an unrestricted FA next season as well) while Muhammed, has to either wait for Chicago to get a QB( by which time if they do he'll probably be ready to retire anyway) or try and catch on with another team(which likely will be a couple years down the road at which time he'll be close to retireing again and likely playing a second or more likely third WR role)

In short, I think Muhammad will have a better season this year than Lloyd, but I think in the long run, Lloyd is a better choice.

One more thing though, don't be in a hurry to drop Cooley if you add Franks. Cooley as a rookie last season caught 6 TD's on a very bad offense, and is more often than not the favorite target when Washington does get inside the 20. I think he should have about 8-9 scores this season.

If you can get Duece for Muhammed, do it in a heartbeat. That's just highway robbery

If Muhammed doesn't produce, I might as well forfeit all my games in the OLFL league .

On a different note, it's strange that I've gotten both Keyshawn and Patten in both my pools this year. I also got Favre, Gates, and Fred Taylor for a second year in a row.

Hopefully Jamal Lewis gets most of the Ravens' TD's this week, so I can get some points off Indy's D...

Oh yeah...if anyone would like Dallas Clark or Fred Taylor, I'm all ears
