Fake or real

This is about Mac OS X 10.5. I am wondering if these are real or if these are photoshoped. What do you think?

i think the bottom one at least is a fake b/c i doubt that the system would have a weird effect when switiching desktops...seem rather pointless.

I'd just read the comments the people left on that website as they probably know more about it than me.

I was just thinking when reading the title that it is against the GB rules to link to that test (hmm, hmm, wink, wink), but then I saw the link.

I think it's fake, certainly after reading the comments on that site.

Well I use Mac OS X myself and I did not want to bais anyone, I am a near expert with both photoshop and the OS itself.

For those that have heard of virtualization, that is what those pictures are really about. The effect you saw might be switching to a different OS (XP, linux flavours ect). It is really cool stuff, where are my geeks at(nerds are mean with their knowledge)?

I've never used OS X and am merely proficient in Photoshop, but I'm pretty sure you are wrong in regards to virtualization.

The screenshot is labelled desktop switcher, so I don't know why you'd assume it's anything different than a desktop switcher. It's also pretty obvious that the OS poking through in the last screenshot is also OS X, and not Windows or Linux.

Did you see the Windows XP SP 2 under Mac OS X?

I saw an icon on the desktop that said Windows but that's pretty much it. Am I missing something?

edit: just checked the website and the guy admits it was fake. I'm still pretty confused as to what the confusion was about though.

Indeed. Virtualization is already being used for any operating system right now. It is quite cool.
