Dear Mr Bush,

Please, please don't get yourself involved in the peace process in Northern Ireland. PLEASE!!

It is only place in the world at this moment which has hope of peace. I don't want it to be messed up. I know it is slow process. But it's such a delicate situation there... far too delicate than Iraq, and not to be dealt with without proper knowledge and understanding.

Please leave the task to those who know the situation. It may not look exciting, I know, but that works better in that way.

Thank you and God bless you.

By the way - how is the "peace-process" developing in Northern Ireland?!? Been a long time since I saw anything on the news about it, (seems they've found something else to focus on right now).

I am completely with you on this. Clinton could always finesse his way through situations but Bush does not have his charisma and while things are mostly peaceful at the moment it wouldn't take long before tensions begin and increase.

Still mount a premptive coup against all Irish people, there is no other solution, they have Guinness, it's close to oil in a relative sense, there's our justification!

LOL That's where their common ground is!

@Karembeu: The Northern Ireland executive has been suspended, and there'll be election this May, which, I think, is postponed. This is due to 1. Spy allegations (some workers in Stormont was allegedly involved in stealing/copying documents in the offices of Secretary of Northern Ireland and Ulster Unionists Party. Sinn Fein argues the police operation itself was fishy and illegal, not to mention disgraceful), and, in my opinion, 2. on going sectarian attacks amongst (mainly) unionists paramilitry groups. Johnny Ader was sent back to prison for 3rd time, I think.

It's still holding, though. At least, we worry less about terrorists attack relating to Northern Ireland these days.

See, last I heard the IRA were being accused of still not handing their weapons over.

Nor did the loyalist paramilitaries.

There's still hope, though.
