Hi guys 
Hope everyone has been doing good. I've been busy with school, especially ceramics. I'll post pics later, after i fire/glaze/get them back from an art show. Spanish class has kept me busy too...oly hell...didnt know i'd suck so bad  Besides that Hurricane Ivan has been keeping me busy too. After i got our yard down, wich was not bad at all i helped a neighbor and then a friend from pottery/ceramics class. I've also been majorly depressed  I've been having trouble keeping realtions w/ friends lately...i dunno whats up...its been rough though...

| | Hello, Taco! Do post some images of your ceramics, okay? I took a course in it years ago, producing a few plates and pots, and still hope to resume it in the future.

| | Hello Taco Magus, great to hear Ivan didn't put his rage on your place. I can only hope your ceramics stand the test of time and children. My mothers survived both me and my sister (10 and 8 at the time) and still look 'great' today...23 years later.

Galuf: ill check into your thread tomarrow, blue isnt the word. Completly withdrawn :P I'm doing better though....mostly.
Weasel: once i have kids....I'm either giving away/selling everything ive made or putting it in storage. My record with braking my mom stuff has been terrrrrrrrrible LOL lets hope its not genetic.

I'm sorry to hear you've been depressed and withdrawn, I really hope you are feeling better now and will recover soon. Try to start getting in touch with your friends again ASAP. If you stay withdrawn for a long time, people start to think you are no longer interested in maintaining the friendship, and they may disappear.
As for me, I am doing very well, but I'm a bit exhausted after a year with lots of hard work and far too much travelling to scientific meetings etc. I am going to teach at a course at my uni as I usually do in the autum, and I have some stuff I must do within the next 2-3 months, but after that I will take it easier for a little while.
Looking forward to see the pictures of your ceramics!

| | I liked them all, the top two being my favorites (I take them to be the front and back picture of the same piece) The fourth one I have no idea what it is, but art is in the eye of the artist.

| | Weasel, the triangle peice hangs on a wall, as does the peice CE likes. It actually has nice coloring but the camera dosent show it :P My tree stump is one of my favorite peices...one of my first works too.

| | Nice work, @Taco. I especially like the piece in the first two. In contrast to our usual practice of spending very little on purchases during vacations, we came back from this last visit in Hungary with some nice ceramics. Even got to interrupt one potter while he was painting his home, and he showed us his wheel (suitably computerized!) and kiln.
