| | Yep... now it doesn't look very likely that I'll be able to get a job before I go away, either.
Anyway, I must get to bed, seeya Dottie *hug*

| | | Rolling Thunder (TM) - The Mobile Party Thread **the sound of squealing brakes under strain is heard outside the "Home for the Depraved" and after the sound dies down the back of a big black Mack truck is carefully backed against one of the windows.**
**Beldin jumps out of the drivers cain to assess the situation**
Hey mates - someone please cut off the bars in this window - then we could use it as an entrance and I don't have to break down the wall...it's a little hard on the black paint on the truck....and I HATE repainting it between our adventures...!

**Gets some dynamite and blows down the wall.**
Okay?

| | | Beldin: **slowly backs the truck up until the back of the trailer fills the hole in the wall and uses some construction foam to fill out the excess space**
That's it, now we don't have to care about the weather anymore...
**Unloads some of the party-equipment, gets bored and lights a spliff instead. Sits down on a desk and watches the others unload the truck**

Well that was fun, must run now
*Looks down a series of dark tunnels*
One of these must be the exit, if I only had my ball of string...

| | | the actions of Eerhardt I would offer to help Fas, but I don't deal with installation issues normally. Tell us what it's about and we'll see what we can do. As far as my weekend is concerned: no NWN, but I got Warcraft III instead ** pours Fas a cup of Pickwick for a change **

| | Um, just give me a while and I'll see if I can help. I have to go for a bit, and I'm also trying to set up my new laptop PC the way I like it (problem no. 1: how to access Windows when I don't know the password), so I may have to get back to you.
EDIT-How're you liking Warcraft 3 @Eerhardt?

| | | I put this in the tech section as well, but any help would be nice.
To cut a long story short.
I reformated my harddrive.
So i have nothing on it.
Then decided to install windows once again.
So i going to the BIOS, say to run the cdrom first.
No problems.
Then i put in my win98 cd.
Its running.
Does a scan of my harddrives and everything is fine.
Then it comes time to install win98.
It starts up and everything, but jams all the bloody time.
As well as the fact i get errors mainlz SUWIN crashes and i have to restart the computer.
This happens all the time.
I was awake till 3 am sat night wroking on this.
The CD would crash all the bloody time.
So i decided to let it cool down, as the temp went up to 45 degress.
Next day try it again.
Same time.
Try it a 9 again in the evening.
Still crashes.
I have no clue what SUWIN is.
I am afraid it is a hardware problem, hopefully it is just the CD itself, which is pretty old.

| | | the actions of Eerhardt ** asks Flammie to light a Buck's FIZZ for him ** @Ode: I have both Warcraft I and II at home too, so I can compare. The menu's and commands are still pretty much the same. If you've played WC II before, the game feels familiar and playing the game comes naturally. Of course, the graphics are an entirely different story - going from a 2D isometric view to a 3D isometric view is quite a change . The animated portraits, the idea of heroes (prologue starts with an Orcish hero),... I really like the game so far. I played the first 2 missions to get a general idea, but I'll probably replay it tonight (who knows what items I may have missed, since your hero can carry potions, rings...).

| | I loved Warcraft 2, actually I was looking around for an old copy but I can't find mine. It was such a funny game.
I've seem Warcraft 3 in stores and have fooled around with it. Are the Orcs still the best side to play as?
