That is strange, I still see it wrong for humans to use animals in testing how things work on humans. Hell, they can't even predict what most things will do to a large number of OUR species even after testing it on some. Why test on a completely different species?  | Rhesus monkeys, rats and pigs are very close genetically, and can usually recieve the same diseases. For an example, both pigs and humans can get ringworm, and we usually get it transferred from pigs.
However, many creaturs are like that. It is how they react that is important. I used to work with rats every day, however, that stopped when I moved on to my new job. Now it is slightly less. I currently have a rat awaiting a birth of children that we worked with for a while.
We aren't so different. Compared to what is possible on Earth alone, we are very close indeed.
