And I've scoped out a few nice places for our next move, whenever we decide that will be. I was thinking here for the novelty value, but the DFs will probably expect us to find our way into the DF Tavern before too long.

@Eerhardt & Ode: I've compiled a list of the (probably not so magic) potions we're going to sell to the DF's:
(I'll leave the pricing to you guys, I don't have a economic mind )

Here we go:

MC²: gives fire resistance and infravision, lowers dex (chars with low dex pass out) , overdose triggers X-Ray vision and immediate blackout for 12 hours.

Bucks FIZZ: fire breath

Columbian Coffe Brew: antidote (gives some poison resistance too)

Electric Shine Stinger: electric resistance

Composite Headbanger C0cktail: increases speed of movement (but not attack), decreases coordination

Enhanced Composite Headbanger C0cktail: increases speed of movement and attack

And of course:
spiked TEA :Changes aligment if apllied on a constant basis. Is used to win over dark apprentices...

New potions lifted from the DF tavern - the names speak for themselves:

Mirrored Image Screwdriver:summons quickly multiplying rabbits, Side Effect - it's a hair raiser (or is that hare raiser ?) - Counters the effects of the "Abi-Dhalzim's Horrid Wilting Daquiri"

Static Charge Martini (made of "Summon Gin" and "Zone of Sweet Vermouth" :

Vampiric Touch Pina Colada :

Ale of Regeneration: lasts for six hours. However, when combined with a Mirrored Image Screwdriver raises strength, dexterity and constitution to 25,but sets wisdom and intelligence to 6.

Nice list, Beldin: you really knocked yourself out there. Looks like we gave the Dark Flames some ideas too, then.
Of course, we also have purple ale and black beer. Not too sure on its effects, yet ** lights one of the Buck's FIZZes on the bar and takes a drink **

I like it so far. We've established a good solid character base here, and the soldiers bit is pure genius for potential future encounters. One suggestion for editing in, seeing as we're dealing with ogres one of us (I'd suggest me, simply because I'm the archer) should probably have a loaded missile weapon ready in case negotiations had gone bad. And perhaps have my falcon familiar join you for the flight, @Beldin.
@Beldin, the word you were after is "instantaneous"

EDIT-check out the DF characters thread if you what to see the extra details I've added. There's one or two things that I hadn't thought of before (think I forgot to mention the 25 Con though, have to add that bit in later).

We did shake things up a bit, didn't we?
