| Holy sh!t! I just read about the planned experiments. I feel very ambivalent towards the whole idea. But there are 2 advantages: The setting is better, and now when everybody know what happened in Stanford experiment so it's not going to happen again.
I feel very ambivalent to the whole idea. On on hand, I hate the whole emotional entertainment concept, I think they are only modern gladiatorial games, set to make entertainment out of other people's suffering.
On the other hand, it seems that BBC are making a very serious effort, with educational goals. Zimbardo, the guy who conducted the original Stanford experiment, is a very serious resaercher, and he and other social psychologists have designed the set up and will control the experiments. I also noted that British psychology ethics committee has given green light. So hopefully, it will be an opportunity for people to learn about the human nature rather than just a spectacular emotional entertainment show.

| | Hey! I just saw the Buttholes here in NYC on Friday night. Used to run into them at parties in Austin and stuff, but that was years ago...
I'd like to die by SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION

| | Death by The Alan Parsons Project.
What a cruel death.
First the major center in the brain responcible for cognition shuts down leaving you a dribling fool prone to saying "the Alan Parsons Project sounds pretty good". The effects that follow closely mimiks that of bovine spongiform encephalopathy.
A bit of spam and run
