| | Sorry, I'm kinda new at this. Besides, it's hard writing an introduction for your characters while keep a sense of humor about the whole thing. 
It's all in good fun, is the important bit.

@Mysteria - maybe the vortex dropped them in from the Sigil? Their characters will have a bit to learn about forgotten realms! Maybe they have new skills to teach the DF too?
@Ode - you haven't annoyed me, I was just a little concerned when I saw you had moved your truck into DF discussion - yes, we spam here too, but we do generally use this place for story discussion and sometimes even at our spam rate questions can be lost. Maybe we should set up a separate DF bar?
@Ode, what are your plans for your characters? is this a cameo appearance or do you intend to stick around?  Speaking personally, I have no problem with people joining in, as long as they remain respectful of other peoples writing (ie reading it) and the story remains logical and easy to read.  I got upset before when I felt the story had been hijacked! Certainly for the last six months or so, I feel the writing in DF has been cohesive, with not too many story tangents...

| | A seperate DF bar, maybe in the not-too-distant future, but right now we've resurrected one of the oldies.
We'll be sticking around in the story, fulfilling a sort of travelling merchant role. Not really cameo, not quite full-time, we just need to get settled in. For the moment it'd be best to think of us as a sort of Saemon Havarian, only without the repeated doublecrossing. Beldin and Eerhardt will be making contributions too; we all wrote this one but only one person could post it.
As for future integration into the story, we'll have to see what we can hammer out. I suspect our role will change over time depending upon what happens and how you guys want to include us.
EDIT-And we are familiar with Faerun, it's just that we weren't sure where we'd ended up this time. When you're plane-hopping like we do it's easy to get disorientated . Now that we're sure it's the Prime Material we'll probably settle in better.

In short, Beldin's a hunchbacked human sorcerer, Eerhardt's a half-elven dual fighter/mage, and I'm an elven archer, who wears elven chain (not allowed I know, but you've got a monk/paladin in Nippy so what the heck) and has **in longswords and single-weapon style.

Okay, first of all, funny post!!! Made me laugh As soon as that stupid cow lets Viv down and we kill all the bad guys I'm running out there to buy some wine (we're all tapped out at the keep...I think Yshania drank it all...or maybe DW...)
