I knew that! Another fun polar bear fact: the skin of a polar bear is black.

Peace.

Oh, PS: isn't anyone going to bring up the subject of Conan O'Brian in this thread? You Canucks are so uptight!

I have yet to receive my toque and Molson's...and I actually am part Canuck.

In lieu of the hat and beer, cash is acceptable...ummm, preferably in US dollars, please (hehe, if I took some Canadian money down to the bank here, they'd just look at me funny).

Another little-known polar bear fact: Most polar bears hate to be called cute pet names like “Pookie.” Conversely, however, most Canadians willingly answer to the name “Pookie!”

Very true. I went to New York last year, and almost tipped a guy with a $20 bill, when I meant to tip $5

Exactly! I have almost done things like this too while in the US. Honestly... how do you guys down South prevent yourselves from giving out the wrong denominations?

Nah, it's just when I tip using Canadian money, I just glance at a colour, and tip. I have to actually be aware and conscience of the number on the money. It's a bit of a hassle, after being so familar with Canadian money.

Well, you see, if someone has served you well (promptly, with curtosy, warm hands ) you, while not obligated, are expected to give them a tip in some material form (money, booze, sexual favours).
