| | | Cult of Bracketology (Spam on topic, pretty please!) Well, today's the start of the Second Round of March Madness, and I was pondering just how many people in SYM have filled out their brackets this year! I was shocked, yesterday - Syracuse and Kansas going out in the FIRST ROUND - talk about an unhappy year for my predictions. I don't mind seeing Bill Self lose, but then again...
So, I'm 27-5 in the opening round (asuming one doesn't count the play-in, in which case I'm 28-5). Not good, not good at all! How about you all?

| | I didn't fill one out this year, but the trick is that you have to pick a few Cinderellas and get lucky and get the right ones.

| | You poor soul. Do I have to sick Vicsun on you? I'm sure he would be more than happy to enlighten you on the fact that the cowboys wouldn't know rugby if it kicked them in the groin and March madness has to do with college, not professional, basketball.

| | | Yes. In America we use the real original term for the sport you call football, soccer. We call a sport you would call American Football, simply football.
TM, do you know of any good sites to watch the brackets fill up?

"American Football" is a game where you run around with the ball on teams in pads and tackle each other. Idiocy to me to run around in all of that gear just for some ball, but they make millions to do it.
Rugby is different from our football. Less pads, different rules and such.

TM, do you know of any good sites to watch the brackets fill up? | I'm a fan of ESPN.com this year - they seem to be the best...and ye gods, Coach K passes Dean Smith! What a game. Still, though, now we wait until Thursday...FOUR DAYS...I can't hold out that long! I don't think it's possible!
Anyway, talk about a tournament of upsets! Kansas goes out in the first round to BUCKNELL - who the heck is BUCKNELL? Yay for them, though - how I loath Bill Self. Then Syracuse goes out, and UConn falls to NC STATE! I feel awefully good for them - you know, Jimmy Valvano's a pretty hard act to follow, but it's nice to see that they've been having success. Anyone else doing ok with theirs?

| | | Bucknell is from Virginia I think, which makes them a great state to be from this year. I think they had the most teams or close.
