| | | Coke or Pepsi?
I couldn't find a thread that asked whether members prefer Coca Cola or Pepsi better. I may just be aweful at searches, but this is always an intriguing argument around the house for me. This kind of goes along with the "Pop, soda, etc" thread. Which do you guys/gals prefer: Coke or Pepsi?

| | | In that sort of either/or situation, definitely Coke; it has much more bite. Pepsi is too sweet and has a vaguely soapy taste.
As I said in the other thread, I don't drink standard pops very often, but when I do it is either Coke or Canada Dry Ginger Ale.

| | | I think Coke is rancid, however, I am a bit brainwashed as my father has worked for Pepsi almost as long as I've been alive. Drinking coke is like smoking a non filtered winston whereas pepsi is soothing like a tasty American spirit.

I think all American and European soft drinks taste like sickly sweet soap. The Asian ones are slightly better (at least the ones I have tried), they taste like sickly sweet flowers.

I personally do not like RC Cola which was very popular in the South East Asian region.
Pakcola - is basically a pakistani verision of cream soda. Very popular and also green (thus my idea to call Abstint, cream soda  )

I prefer, though, to have iced tea - yes, laugh CM - Guaranį or Sprite, if I can. |
