He is a classic.

Lucas) who decided to go ahead with the story line. If this author hadn't, the next would. I read an interview where Salvatore talked his decision to go along. I will look for it again and post it.

They constantly try to one-up the movies, they contradict the films, and they miss the central point of the series (it’s myth set to a Sci-Fi background, not Sci-Fi itself!)! http://www.wc3campaigns.com/forums/i...es/new/mad.gif

I like a bunch of the Expanded Universe stuff. I won't be surprised if Episode III stinks as much as I and II did.
I'm a die-hard fan of the original movies, but I *really* didn't like Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones.
I actually agree with killing Chewie off in the Expanded Universe, despite how much I like him in the movies. In the Exp. Universe, they really couldn't do much with his character anymore, so Salvatore killed him off. I think it created a much more interesting series of books.
