| | Noo-o-o-o-o-o-o-o!!! Xandax! Gods, I never thought you would do it. It was you, me, and fable - the elite vanguard of sacred avatars! Held since day one of the avatared Gamebanshee! And now you've gone and ... well, chosen a really cool avatar, admitedly, but it's - different! And I've seen it somewhere I just know it! Someone here in SYM used to have that one ... hmmm ... anyone remember?
Well, I guess it's just fable and me now. The last of the true. Though fable, I think, did throw that goofy Santa gat on his during the yuletide season ...
Sigh.
Wait! I've just remembered: Nippy!! Nippy has kept his all this time, hasn't he!? Ah! That paladin spirit - gotta respect that!
Peace.

I'll not deny I've been tempted, since, either. Several of SYM's most effective avatar-creators have tried to lure me away from the path of righteousness, chocolate rabbits and all things good; but I have never subcumb to their blandishments. No, I'm commited to avatar purity, at least, until somebody presents me with a large sum of money to change it.

Peace. | Yes, a member named Pel El had that same avatar. He has changed it now, though. And he has been MIA for a while. He pops in and out of SYM after long stints of silence. And Aegis' avatar has been used by Kiddo.
Heh, whats the worry/disappointment dM? I think changing an avatar, as long as it is in taste, is a good idea, not too constant and not too long, it can be flavorfully different. Because change is good many times, monotony is something best avoidable. And if one changes their avatar TOO much, they become unidentifiable by their picture.

| | Well, Tybaltus, my young friend, I understand the modern's world's love of change - myself, I do not share it. I've been brewing the same beer for 700 years! Personal world-view, I guess.
Peace.

Peace. | Heh, and some things increase in value and substance with age. And I find your avatar does fit you well for one reason or another. It would be hard to imagine seeing a different face next to the chocolate text.
But, I simply cannot get comfortable with one avatar over a long period of time, though the silver knight, parrot, raccoon, yang knight, and panda were all getting kind of cozy. All were changed for one reason or another...
Silver Knight-I wanted a bit more color to my avy
Parrot- Too many parrot jokes! (Though changing my avatar doesnt seem to have shaken them...)
Raccoon- Thug, BS, and Ned wanted to eat me....
Yang Knight- No positive feed back and confusion of what he was...
Panda- Due to popular demand, a switch was initiated.
So I guess I am in a situation where one avatar will never seem to become my concrete avatar.

Thanks for the idea. | Okay, so my seplling gets pretty iffy after a tall Paulaner.
