Probably noone remembers, but I've been serving a tour in S Korea, but now thats over and I'm finally back in Ft Bliss TX. Being back is supprizingly depressing, I can't go on leave until the 25th. But its not as depressing as being in Korea.
Anyway, i have less than a year in the Army, so its unlikely I'll go anywhere else. I've been thinking of reenlisting to go on a three year tour in Japan the Army is opening up for my job, but I doubt I will, I want to go to college before I get to much older.

Don't neglect college. And after that, just go off on an impoverished walking tour somewhere, and live. You'll never regret either course of action, IMHO.

| | Impoverished walking tour, eh? I've thought of somthing like that before, wondering how far I could go with it. I'm not sure I could just throw myself at the mercy of the world like that

A good walking tour of Central or Eastern Europe would probably be relatively cheap, and a great deal of fun. If I were--well, not 3,000 years younger, but perhaps 30 or more, I'd grab the chance to broaden my knowledge of other cultures, to learn new things and meet plenty of people.
