IF I tell everybody this is not the first time such thing happens, you guys wouldnt believe.

But, in fact, it is not the first time.

Also, I find it pretty dumb, and I wish I could point and laugh at the mayor's face.

Yeah, good oportunity for a laugh. Poor Biritiba.

This birings mt a question, i may start a new thread I may not, seeing as everyone here is just laughing, ill try to provoke some thought, what do you think is the most environmentally friendly/which do you prefer, i might start a poll based on the popularity of topic:

Would you rather:

Recieve a traditional burial i.e. put in a coffin sux feet under ground.

Be cremated.

Cryogenically frozen to a. be revived later, or b. be put on display in a museum (lennin stytle)

Be turned into a diamond and adorn the finger/neck/wrist/ear of a loved one.

All too expensive options for the people of the town. In fact the fiscal responsability law (that limits the ammount that goverments can spend a year) makes this kind of thing possible. I'll comment further when I can...

There is a pilot project going on in a town in Sweden right now where corpses are freeze dried, then shaken to small bits and mixed with mud. Apparently it's supposed to be very environment friendly. If this is an option when I die I would think it's a good way.

Less realistic, but still appealing to me, is to be planted in some swamp in a way that increases the chance of becoming a fossil. Might be nice to have when the aliens arrive and discover our lost civilization.
