We have carnaval here in holland too.
It's about dressing up silly (last year I was zorro) and drinking a lott of beer.
ALAAAAF! *hips* Alaaf is something people say here in carnaval, it's a way of saying hello. (only used when drunk)

hmmmm. its not really carneval in copenhagen anymore.... and what is left is pretty lame...
it's just some tents with carneval music and a bunch of drunken ppl.
the carneval here are not allowed to go through town anymore
if its because its too filthy?, or because of a girl got killed for about 10 years ago to the carneval, i dont really know. Maby someone else from denmark can answer that.....
i LOVE carneval, i just was in a anti-mask demo yesterday, and i walked all through copenhagen with the first banner... with a pink palliet mask with a ton of fethers in *lol*
i looked like a carneval retard
