Question Buying rpg

I really want to play some good singleplayer rpgs but I also want to play multi with my brother in the same game.

I have played BG, BG TotSC, BG2 SoA, BG2 ToB, IWD, IWD HoW, IWD 2, Planescape: Torment, Morrowind, Morrowind Tribunal, Morrowind Blood, NWN, NWN SoU, NWN HotU, Fallout I, Fallout II.

I have played most of these games many times but i do find Fallout kinda boring and easy... I also do not like Jedi games at all... There may be more games I havn`t mentioned!

Anyone got any suggestions of what game i shall by with my birthday money?!?!

How about trying to find some old copies of the Wizardry or Ultima series ?

This may be difficult since they are likely no longer published, but chances are you might find them OL at somewhere like Ebay or Chips and Bits. There might even be a used game seller somewhere in your area

Fallout is easy? Or perhaps cheesable?

I dunno, have you downloaded the tactics kinda mod for SoA and ToB?

They are cool.

Go for the gusto. Play chess online and be humbled by 8 year olds.

The two games I'd suggest are...

1. Arcanum. It's single player, but it's in the same mode as Fallout and Planescape: Torment, so if you didn't like those games then you won't like Arcanum.

2. Diablo 2. It supports multiplayer, and it's fun if you like action rpgs. For other multiplayer games, you might think about Dungeon Siege or, hmm, Prince of Qin.

Single player game only.

Soulbringer

The good,

1.Cheap ($9.99) Usually in a two pack with another game.
2.Hack and Slash Heaven.

The bad,

1.Slow start.
2.Quick finish.

But an old Playstation (or a new one) and play some of the finalfantasy's.
I can recommand FFVII,
Great story, intresting chracters, chalanging game and a very long gameplay

not an awful lot of roleplaying, and no storyline flexibility though...
although FF8 was great, and the little I played of FF10 at my friend's house was excellent

If you're into fantasy, try Thief and Thief2. They're not EXACTLY rpg's, but there's a lot of fantasy, terrific atmosphere, great gameplay, good storyline and a lot of tense and scary moments.
Thief is up there as a true classic, IMHO at least.

I don't know anything about the game, but some people at the Morrowind Forum have suggested "Gothic" is worth checking out. Here is a link to Game Spy's review: http://www.gamespy.com/reviews/january02/gothic/

And I also just discovered there is a "Gothic 2." Again, personally I know nothing about either of these games, but they don't look bad (though the control sounds as though it is a bit clunky)
