3. Always know what to get.
4. Rarely, only if I'm out shopping and I get bored.
5. No, I'll go home and read a review on the game before returning to purchase.
6. Review sites, especially www.gamespot.com, and forums.
Hope thats helpfull, laters!

2. I buy games in stores, the EB games at the local mall in particular... If it's a really old game however I'll search on ebay.
3. I browse mostly, but if I browse I rarely end up buying anything. The only time I buy something is when I plan the purchase out ahead of time and make a visit to specifically buy the game (no spur-of-the-moment purchasing in other words).
4. I probably stop in once a week just to browse.
5. Browsing rarely leads me into buying something, as I mentioned above; I'm just there because I'm bored.
6. I find the games I'd like to try by reading reviews of them on site like Gamespot to see what's said about them... If it sounds interesting I'll either go out and buy it or rent it at Blockbuster.
Good luck . |

I buy games at stores like EB games,Game Stop,Circuit City or any hobby or electronic store that has games.
Both Id say
I usually know what I am getting when I see a game that I like is out(duh)
I browse only when nothing good as come out and I want to see or play anthing that I didnt hear about.
Yes I usually do buy something...although if its nothing I have heard about or know anything about I tend to think whether or not its worth it,but if its for 20$ Ill buy it to try it out.
I watch G4 were there are alot of game programs that tell you how good games are.....other times I read EGM,Play or the XBOX magazine for ratings....if not I ask people who have played it for their opinion |

| I usually use the local game store... I don't like using the internet. EB Games is the closest, but every so often, if I am curious, I'll go into Compusmart (if they still existed) or a games section, but I won't buy anything until I come back later. Quote: |
Do you know what to get or do you go browse?
| I have an idea what I want before I leave the house, after reading the reviews, and talking with people. I rarely, if ever, just go to browse and pick something up. Quote: |
Does it lead to you buying something?
| No. not usually. Unless the SO bothers me a bunch into playing a game if on the off chance she remembers it on the way by. (Usually, that means she wants it, as we already have all the games we wanted) Quote: |
Where do you find out wich games you wanna buy?
| Game Review sites, friends... if I hear about it and it interests me, I'll look into it.

I look about for the cheapest but reliable source. Frequently, I wait a few weeks or months in order to buy less expensively secondhand on the Web. Do you know what to get or do you go browse?
I don't browse, except when my wife and I are having fun analyzing the marketing savvy behind displays, and poking fun at things. Does it lead to you buying something?
I never buy on impulse. That's like giving your wallet to a thief, and telling them to help themselves. Where do you find out wich games you wanna buy?
Careful reading of developer forums, and the word of mouth of people whose opinions I respect.

2. Uhm, the place where they're cheapest hehe... usually Future Shop.
3. I know what I want before I go to the store.. unless I find a newer version of the game, then I usually buy that.
4. I rarely browse...
5. Usually not, I might say, "That looks interesting," but I won't buy.
6. From friends, or from movie reviews. |

2. Fry's Electronics, Wal-Mart, Best Buy (in that order)
3. When buying games, I go to the store to purchase specific items.
4. I look at games on the store shelves sometimes, but I don't really "browse" for games because I don't buy any games that I didn't plan to buy.
5. No. (See above.)
6. Most of the time, I buy a game only after I have tried it (either on a friend's computer or by trying a shareware version) or after I have played a similar game that I enjoy. Some of my games were given to me by friends who wanted me to try them. I enjoyed about half of them enough to keep playing them. Wolfenstein 3D was one of the first games ever given to me. After discovering a game I like, I usually acquire the sequels and other titles by the same company. For example, I downloaded the shareware version of Doom because I liked Wolfenstein 3D, and then I bought the retail version. Baldur's Gate was given to me as a gift, and I liked it so much I eventually bought BG2, TOB, Icewind Dale, IWD2, and Planescape: Torment.

When you buy games in stores where do you buy them? Game stores, where else Not on the interenet if that's what you mean.
Do you know what to get or do you go browse? I always know what to buy when I decide to buy a new game.
If you browse how often do you do it? Rarely
Does it lead to you buying something? Only if the game is recommended by friends/ppl I know or I can try a trial version or something. Ads alone will never make me buy a game.
Where do you find out wich games you wanna buy? Friends, game magazines, internet
Hope this helps

When you buy games in stores where do you buy them? Fnac, Gamemania, small retail stores
Do you know what to get or do you go browse? Both
If you browse how often do you do it? Whenever I get the chance (only around 6 to 8 weeks/year in countries were you can buy games)
Does it lead to you buying something? Yes, when I find a game which might not be in the front row of publicity anymore, but of which I heard good comments when it came out but was unable to buy it. Or I might see a gamet that seems attractive, look up info and buy later. Of course, the lower the price, the lower the buy treshold
