[Ode to a Grasshopper]

**Ode to a Grasshopper walks down BS's tunnel system, checks a map scrawled on the back of his hand. Looking up, he checks his position, nods to himself in quiet satisfaction, and puts down the tin of red paint he is carrying. Picking up his paintbrush, he paints a large red X at a crucial intersection in BS's warren of tunnels. The occasional muttered "Two drunks...show him a thing or two...teach him a lesson...won't forget this in a hurry..." can be heard while he paints. The X finished, he picks up his paintbrush and tin of paint, and walks back out of the maze of tunnels, drinking from a hip-flask of shine.**

[Beldin]

**The walls of the tunnels shudder with a growing, thundering noise. Suddenlythe bright red X starts to glow in an eerie light and bulges in several directions, only half of them on THIS material plane**

**BAROOOOOUM**

**The Big Black Mack Truck slides to a halt several hundred feet into the tunnel. As the dust settles and the engine roar dies off some figures can be seen climbing out of the cabin**

** slowly regains conscience, prepares a new hottub full of E.S.S. and a new series of E.C.h.C., fills three glasses with the E.S.S. and joins Beldin and Ode outside, handing over the glasses of E.S.S. ** Great driving, Beldin. Now if only we could see something in this darkness...
Hang on! ** runs back inside, puts his shirt in a bowl of MC² , then puts his shirt back on and returns, his shirt lighting the tunnel **

**Belatedly fires a barrage of flaming shine in all directions** Did I get him? Did I get him? **Peers through the smoke** Oh bugger. Typical. My parents decide they want to use the internet during the one time there's someone who needs a flaming.
**Picks up a portable back-back shine-thrower and marches away in the direction of CMs last post**.

[Beldin]

**stamps out the flames around the truck, then enters the lab to soak his cloak in MC². Starts the forklift and sets up the moveable Bar beside the truck**

Eerhardt - could you get the tap online ? We'll need some beer once the first customers show up !

**continues to unload the truck to establish a makeshift tavern right in the crossing of 2 major tunnels**

**returns looking extremely satisfied with himself** Well, that showed him. **Takes off back-pack shine-thrower, which has significantly less shine in the tank than when he left, and starts helping with the unloading of the truck.**

Consider it done, mate! ** connects the tap to the still and lines up the E.C.h.C. and some E.S.S. on the bar. Once Beldin has the BS- and horse-sized pints unloaded, Eerhardt starts filling them with beer ** I think we should still work on the Massive Chug C0cktail, so we'll leave it in the secret lab, ok?

This force thing works well, i can project my form across threads. No where can i get my tea sans shine?

It still gives us infravision and fire resistance, right? **Goes down to secret lab and dives into mixture, then comes back up** Yup, infravision's still here. **Takes an E.S.S. from the top of the bar and starts drinking**
