| | | Broken Sword: SotT I just dusted this amazing game off the shelves yesterday, seeing that a third BS game is due to hit the shelves in half a year. Has anyone else played this?
If anyone has played the sequel, The Smoking Mirror, I´d like to hear any opinions, as I have not tried it out myself.
Thanks. |

| | The broken sword games are IMO very good.
I finished BS 1, but somehow I never really finished 2.
Can't seem to find my copy neighter... strange things are going on here.
It had some good riddles and all, but I still prefer 1.
But it plays very nice. Good choice!

As do I prefer the first, better plot and more interesting characters. I am really looking forward to the third.

| | I'm thinking this should really be over in one of the Role-Playing forums. Would Dungeons & Dragons be an appropriate folder?

@BM: Broken Sword is a point & click adventure game taking place in the present, mainly in Paris, but also in other countries like Turkey and Ireland.
The main character is George Stobbart, a tourist on vacation in Paris. When sitting in a café, a clown runs in and when he runs out again, a bomb goes off and kills a famous hot-shot business man. The plot unveils...
What can I say? It´s a thrilling story in a game that lets you focus 90% on the storyline, no "physical" action like shooting or fighting. There is also a lot of great puzzle elements, and the plot alone is worth playing the game for. |

| | | hm, I've never really played much of the games. would you reccomend them? I've only played a bit of the demos and I do find the whole 'use the fish on the hosepipe, tie it to the pool cue then examine the monkey statue' style of gameplay a bit frustrating. is the plo tany good?

| | A graphical adventure game? That would certainly belong here, but I can't say I've heard of Broken Sword. You didn't describe it at first, @Jaesha, and what you said about it made it sound (to me, at least) like an RPG module.
As it's not that, I have no problem with keeping it here. So as to bring people up to date on what it's about, I've done a little research up on Moby Games; and you can find out about the title here.
