Recently I purchased DK books : The Ultimate Guide to the Dark Knight(Batman, for the unknowing reader). I find it to be well worth every cent devoted to its purchase, especially so being what a Batman worshipper I am. What have you purchased as of late that you find/have found complete satisfaction in?

Haven't buy anything yet. Plan to spend my whole hard earned money on Bose sound systems and a cable modem c/w cable connection

I just bought and installed a Netgear router to create my own home network. After a couple of missteps during the setup, I finally got it working and it's terribly convenient (plus I get the extra geek points).
My wife and I also just bought and began playing Acropolis, the city-building sim that includes Zeus and its expansion, Poisidon. It's very addictive and a lot of fun.

Purchased? Well, I just bought the first five CDs at reduced cost (up on the Bershire Record Outlet) of symphonies by Nikolai Myaskovsky. He wrote nearly thirty in the early 20th century Soviet. When I was growing up (that is, advancing to a mature sexual state, which amounts to the same thing in the human condition), his LPs were all Soviet imports that were very hard to find, and few of his works were recorded. I'm very pleased with 'em. Great stuff.

I bought a donut to go with my coffee after lunch. By accident, my friend got to pay for it (very confused girl at the counter). I think it was money very well spent.

Mmmmmmm.... donut. (=Homer Simpson imitation)
I just bought (ordered, it hasn't shipped yet though) Jagged Alliance 2. That is something really really really good.
@Vicsun: what's with you Danes and those sandwiches? It seems that's all you eat... (well, I admit they ARE good, but anyways)?

I recently bought a book I'm very much looking forward to read as soon I have time.
It was recommended to me by Delacroix on this board, and it's called "The Posthumous Memoirs of Bras Cubas" by Brazilian author Joachim Maria Machado de Assis.
