As a loving dog owner in the US, and coming from a state that was affected by this (Connecticut), I was concerned. Fortunately, my folks and I do not use the specified brands, so there's less need to worry.

I can't speak for anyone else here, but the reason I didn't respond is that we don't buy those products for our cats anyway.

I agree, however. Some of the stuff that often goes into pet food is just scary.. which is why we are very careful in what we purchase.

Our dogs and cats eat a lot of scraps off the table. We give them very little dry food. So, I really don't have much reason to post.
