| | | My vote is still on clinton, and though it be a biased opinion, he is the only one I grew up having as a president that was "Good." |

| | | Nixon was forced to resign and Clinton was impeached. It's sad if one of these was the best ever. Both did some good and some bad but a president with the legacy of these two cannot be "best".
From this list I voted for Truman. |

| | | Tough Choice It was close for me but I gave my vote to "Honest Abe". Being the first would have very tough, but I don't think anyone was dealt a tougher hand to work with than Abraham Lincoln. While FDR had to deal with WW2, at least the country was unified behind. Imagine WW2 if the US had remained divided into 2 regional "countries". Can only speculate, but my guess is that they would have been even more isolationist than we were.

| | | First issue that comes to mind here. How could Bill Clinton be one of the BEST presidents?I mean come on he one of only two presidents to be impeached. The choices of both this poll are way too much based on personal opinion (ie. Bush automatically is one of the choices for bad well Clinton (?) is one of the good choices) I don't see how it is possible to put Clinton and leave out such obvious choices such as Reagan.
However, from the choices here I would haver to pick George Washington, between him and Abraham was a tough choice. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
