I just voted for Gollum.
I think you might need to redo your poll though, because some of those categories are really general, such as "hobbit." I mean, which one? I think Sam is integral, for example, but I don't necessarily perceive the other hobbits that way.

I really like King Theoden, He is such well played as the lost king who finds his sanity and courage. In the book he even get to kill the king of the Haradrim. An honour the movie gave to Eomer.
Plus, his pre-battle speeches are so insanely good that I get goosbumps and want to yell out "DEATH!!" with all the 6000 rohirrims
EDIT: leave the poll as it is, now we can vote amongst all the characters, not only the fellowship + "other"
EDIT2: I also like Boromir, he seem like a somewhat badguy (or at least a weak person) in the first movie, something the extended material on Two Towers fixed, where you see him after the battle of Osgiliath, not wanting to go to the fellowship in fear of being corrupted by the ring. I see him as a real big brother type, protective and friendly

Anyway, no worries, I was probably just being nit picky

The only way too do it properly is
a) Make Multiple topics
b) Post favourite character in this topic and whst group he/she belongs to in the poll

I'd choose the Nazgűl, Sauron's minions.
They aren't really round characters, they're flat as a coin, but they're really cool. (I only saw the movie, sorry...)
They have some awesome horses, and even more awesome dragons. What more can I say..

Well I must say Sam Wise is a cool caracther. I only read one book and saw one movie though.

The real story was, that they had made a little mistake in fabrication, because his armor was made of satin, so he had no armor and had to improvise. He did that so well, that nobody noticed. Thumbs up for #356, I'd say.

I don't see the Ents represented. As I tree myself, I must say I feel slighted.
Yours faithfully, Brigadier Sir Charles Arthur Strong (Mrs.)
