English it's considered universal language nowadays. Since we're from different countries and culture, what song do you listen besides English language songs ?

Despite my usual heavier leanings, I do like Celtic music very much

@BS & HLD : you've mistaken this thread with the "Redneck" thread
I generally listen to Enya - she's my fave
Last time when my Singaporean friend came they played some Chinese songs. quite good infact. But dunno why they're quite fancy with Stephanie Sun
I listen to some J-pop - LOL yeah the anime thingy play a bit part of them . But I find Matsu Takako albums quite amusing.

I saw Clannad live at the Royal Albert Hall (reknowned for its accoustics) some 14 years ago. Maire Brennan sung an unaccompanied song in Gaelic about a mermaid. I didn't understand a word, but I almost cried. Beautiful

@KidD01:
A real redneck would ask why you left "American" off your list of languages . . .

I'm not sure if you class this as Japanese, but I've heard (I think this is their name) Mad Capsule Market. They are heavy...

Almost too many to list. Songs in different African languages I don't understand, songs in Arabic, Russian (so many great operas and the best male choir in the world, the Novospassky choir), Italian (doesn't everybody have some favorite Puccini area?), Latin (yes, it's still used in traditional Gregorian singing)....and many more.

Even though I don't understand it, I like JPop better than regular pop. I don't even listen to regular pop.
