| | | Baldur's Gate II NPC Eulogy I didn't want to clutter Gwalch's thread, but some of you were interested in the ultimate fate of our BGII NPC friends: http://www.gamebanshee.com/baldursga...ethumbnail.jpgTerrible tragedy. Having been disguised as a monster, Aerie met her end at the hands of Waverly’s merry band. She tried to explain – but hey, monsters lie! The official word is that her Uncle was killed when the circus tent collapsed. There is neither corroborating nor conflicting evidence. http://www.gamebanshee.com/baldursga...nthumbnail.jpgAnomen fell down the stairs of the Copper Coronet in a drunken stupor. I’d like to say that he didn’t suffer - but he certainly looked like he was suffering. A lot. Some patrons suggested that he was pushed by Jaheira, but they have since either changed their stories or disappeared. http://www.gamebanshee.com/baldursga...dthumbnail.jpgCernd was hopeful that he could make a play for arch druid. Some friendly combat with Jaheira to test his readiness revealed that wasn’t quite up to the task. His ashes blew away before they could be properly buried. http://www.gamebanshee.com/baldursga...sthumbnail.jpgHaer’Dalis got a bug in his bonnet about some gem or whatnot. Taking him for a thief, Korgan attempted a citizen’s arrest. Pretty boy resisted and had to be restrained – he didn’t survive the process. http://www.gamebanshee.com/baldursga...nthumbnail.jpgJan was a beloved member of the Waverly party. Unfortunately, Imoen took his place, and he didn’t cope well during his exit interview. Farewell, old friend! http://www.gamebanshee.com/baldursga...nthumbnail.jpgNo one is sure why Keldorn chose that particular time to play ‘king of the sewer’. He eventually relented, but it was a bit of a moot point by that time. Keldorn remains in the sewer he felt he ruled.

| | http://baldursgate.unforgottenrealms...ts/male39L.jpgDrizzt and his drunken band of raiders picked a fight with the wrong party. Waverly tried to defuse the situation according to existing reports, when suddenly Drizzt came down with a case of horrid wilting. His weapons were later stolen and are presumed lost to the ages. http://baldursgate.unforgottenrealms...ts/male38L.jpgElminster, the much loved Wizard, suffered from dementia late in life. Perpetually following Jaheira around and delivering an endless supply of Harper pins, he was imprisoned for his own good. The Waverly party is not releasing the location of the imprisonment spell at this time.

I also would test out the usefulness of new spells on the Hobbits at the Five Flagons. You could pretty much wipe out all of them with a level 9 or 10 spell. Ah... how they would scurry.
Which brings to mind a major flaw in the game: I was much more dangerous than Irenicus, yet I got to be 'Hero of Trademeet' and all the other accolades. They really should have sent a party of advanturers after me.

| | BGIII - Waverly's Unholy Rampage You are hot on the trail of Faerun's number one villian as he carves a path of destruction and depravity through the Sword Coast. Find clues, interrogate witnesses, and gather allies to join you in this fantasy manhunt. Can you stop Waverly and his twisted party before they lay waste to the city of Baldur's Gate?
I like it

Chapter 1:
A year ago, you could never have pictured yourself in the army. Your father’s death was a shock, but so too was your older brother’s sizeable inheritance. Your brother has since grown uncharacteristically cold, and his avarice has severed your familial bonds. Confused and saddened, you were turned out into the world to find another means to support yourself and make your own way. Now a young officer, you have been tasked with apprehending the infamous rogue, Waverly. It’s an opportunity for advancement, a chance to prove yourself, but you get the sense that your commanding officer is not telling you something.
You have been making progress. In fact you are encouraged at how quickly you were able piece together clues and whispered gossip into tonight’s mission: Surprise one of Waverly’s old party members, and one time trusted lieutenant, Edwin of Thay in his room at the Burbling Toad. How much trouble could one wizard be?

| | If you're running it properly, fancy sharing out the parts, or are you writing it Waverly? Either way, it'll be class to see.
