Dunno if a thread about this came out already... but I just saw AVP a few days ago.... I thought it was hilarious, I really didn't care about the fact that there was no plot, I just found something endlessly repeating in my mind as I watched this "Now we sha'll see who's Kung Fu is superior!".... Did anyone else get this feeling?

I haven't see it, but from what I read >spoiler< The Predator/s are now a new soup on the Cooking Channel. See this is what happens when you don't bring in the Terminator!!! With Mr. T...I mean Mr. A in the fight, the Aliens wouldn't have stood a chance.

I have been told the Aliens get wacked every time. And that humans are pathetic. And that the Predator is invulnerable or very hard to kill.

Man, I miss the ancient Alien movies...

Umm... actually the predator and one puny human wins, oh wait, just the human the predator dies in the end. I think the most memorable moment there was when both the predator and human run away from a titanic explosion... (like the run at the edges of an expanding fireball, some how). I mean, the Predator was like at a light jog, and looked hilarious running like that.
I also like the fact that aliens seem to grow up in about 20 minutes despite the fact that you never see them eat, and they obviously went to storm trooper training school to train their taill-stabbing prowess

AVP must be cool, but I'm sure I'll miss Sigourney weaver...

Not to mention our helplessness against aliens. I always wanted them to win

And the predator looks like a junkie afro man. I'd like to see them dancing reggae for a while, then they'll be worth of my smile.
