| | | Artur C Clarke I'm kinda outdated in my science fiction researches, and Sir Clarke has disapeared from the midia for quite some time...
Do someone know what happened to him?
For those who do not remember: He wrote 2001, and Rama. |

| | He lives in Sri Lanka, is bound to a wheelchair because of Polio, and is getting on a bit, despite still doing research. He was Born in 1917, so I guess he's entitled to retirement.

| | | Stilgar, yeah, difficult... but better than Mist, I'm sure. Even though it had not so better made scenarios.
I'm proud to say I've finished it, but I meant the books...
You dont know what have you lost by not reading them, thats fer sure.
For good ACC books, try these, in this order:
Rendezvou with Rama, Rama II, The Garden of Rama, Rama Revealed; then The fountains of Paradise; then Childhoods end. The 2001 series books are nice too, but I prefer Rama, for sure. |

Rama, the game, is based on the second book - Rama II, wich starts the legacy of Nicole des Jardins and Richard Wakefield. Nice game, but I wonder what could be done using some Quake III engine to run that cilindrical scenario.
ACC has even one orbit with his name... he is my living God, thats for sure (sorry Fable, it is not you ) | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
