That's right, apparently it is possible that Archimedes might have devised a death ray. If you want to know more, you'll just have to read the article: http://web.mit.edu/2.009/www/lecture...desResult.html

And a sunny day. Maybe some of those sun protection glasses would help.
I think I heard of this before. Wasn't it featured in Age of Empires?

Wow, someone else remembers it!
Even AOE can be educational. In a way...
Don't think I managed to win that scenario.

Tsk tsk tsk.... AoE said that William Wallace won the battle at Falkirk...And continued to search for Edward Longshanks... Though he died, or got captured there. I can't remember which..
Lesson of the day : Do not trust pc games!

Never said I did. AOEII was rewriting history. Ah well, in RL the English won!
Anyway, if the player could only lose the tutorial, then it wouldn't be such a great tutorial.

Back on topic who thinks is possible to make a pocket vers of archimedes deathr ay? like a hand gun but a lot slower and mroe painful. lunch on the quad would then be slightly entertaining if those bees and students would stand still
