That's right, apparently it is possible that Archimedes might have devised a death ray. If you want to know more, you'll just have to read the article:

wow thats pretty neat information I just call my ray the Ray of Antkillings(using the sun light and a magnifying lens)...to think they had like ray guns on the forts/castle ......we dont even have ray guns one our military bases...or do we

That sounds like my hand of deaht, but that involves my hand, bug spray, match/lighter, and a pyrophobic person prone to stroke/heart attack. what cna i say i like to wave when i say hello.

But thats insane, my physics teacher would be really interested in this, thanks for the link.

And a sunny day. Maybe some of those sun protection glasses would help.

I think I heard of this before. Wasn't it featured in Age of Empires?

Indeed...Those Towers (yes, the Death mirrors was mounted in several towers) destroyed your ships in an instant, and not in 10 minutes

Never said I did. AOEII was rewriting history. Ah well, in RL the English won!

Anyway, if the player could only lose the tutorial, then it wouldn't be such a great tutorial.

Back on topic who thinks is possible to make a pocket vers of archimedes deathr ay? like a hand gun but a lot slower and mroe painful. lunch on the quad would then be slightly entertaining if those bees and students would stand still
