Just thought I'd throw that out there...

I need help translating something from Afrikaans to English. I don't know anyone who could help, but I thought you never know with SYMers - they know almost everything, right?

I know there are some people here who speak Dutch... as you probably are aware the two are fairly close, so maybe they would be able to help??

Well, Stilgar does. I can follow it if it's spoken slowly, but that probably won't help with a dialect, much less a written vocabulary.

I recall Rob-hin is also Dutch actually

Like Fable I can understand quite a lot, but I suspect I'd be pretty useless with a written document.

Thanks Audace - I PM'd you, check your mailbox.

What a weird language that is - I know some German and thought I could take a shot at it, but the German was no help at all!

Clear out message tracking, as well. It takes up *a lot* of space.

Does it really??? I could swear I have never noticed that clearing tracking restores message space.... I'll have to look into that....

[EDIT] Hmmm... well I just tried clearing a load of messages from tracking but it hasn't cleared any room....

Yes, a combination of all three helps. Thing about message tracking is, nobody generally thinks of it, and I've actually seen mailboxes go from twelve or more messages a piece to four while tracking backs up.

I have to admit... this confuses me a tad (it usually doesn't take much ). Because my PMs are usually just on the edge of overflowing I have done everything I can to keep them down to a reasonable level. But I have never found that clearing tracking opens up additional space....

I'd appreciate clarification on this, because as I said, deleting tracking never changes anything for me....
