Sadly, i must agree with this article. September 11th is in no way the biggest event in history, i probably wouldn't even put it in the top one hundered. Basically the only affect it has had is a change of government in afganistan, and i wouldn't bet money that its going to last. The innability i see in my fellow americans to be anywhere near as angered or saddened by events like the Holocaust, Stalin's murder of millions of russians, constant violence in the middle east, balkans, africa, the injustices of the USA on its own citizens, ectera, and yet their complete focus on a single tragic, but relativly insignificant, event in our recent history is horrifying to me.
